Catherine is an M.Sc. student working at the interface of structural biology, protein characterization and biomolecular engineering.
Her research focuses on the design and characterization of nanobody complexes targeting human RNases, with the goal of modulating molecular recognition, stability and functional interactions.
Her project combines:
- Nanobody engineering and scaffold design
- X-ray crystallography for structural analysis
- Protein biophysics (binding affinity, stability, ligand interactions)
- Structure–function analysis of RNase complexes
Through this interdisciplinary work, Catherine aims to understand how nanobody design technology can influence biomolecular recognition and to develop next-generation architectures for biochemical and biotechnological applications.
